Graduation Magnets for the Class of 2027: Timing, Sizes, and Party Favors

Graduation season runs March through June, and every printer in the country fills up in April. If your student walks in spring 2027, the useful time to think about this is now.

The thirteen-photo journey set

Every parent has the folder: Pre-K through twelfth grade, one school photo per year. The awkward second grade one. The year with the haircut. The senior portrait that finally looks like an adult.

Those photos sit on a hard drive and nobody ever sees them. Lined up in order on a refrigerator door, they do something a photo album cannot — you watch a person become themselves in thirteen frames, all at once, in the room where the family actually gathers.

Thirteen magnets covers Pre-K through 12th. Most families order the 20-set instead, because thirteen leaves no room for the graduation photos, prom, sports, and the two or three that do not belong to a grade but belong in the story.

How many for a graduation party

Different math entirely. If you are handing them out, count guests:

Party size Order
Up to 40 guests 40-set
40 to 100 100 pack
Whole senior class 200 to 500

Party favors are usually one design repeated — the senior portrait with a name and year — rather than thirteen different images. Same price either way.

Booster clubs and class gifts

Custom magnets work well as a fundraiser because the margin is real and parents actually want the product. At the 100 pack our per-unit price is $3.75. Sell at $10 and a hundred magnets nets your program $625. We split a run across multiple player or student designs at no extra charge.

Old school photos will be fine

Photos from the 2010s are often low-resolution scans or reprints of reprints. Two inches square is a forgiving size — images that would fall apart at 8x10 hold up perfectly here. Every image gets hand color-corrected, and older prints usually come back better than the original.

Send the original file rather than a screenshot, and if you only have a paper print, photograph it flat in window light.

The deadline that sneaks up

For a May or June 2027 ceremony:

  • Journey sets for the family: order by mid-April. Production is 3 to 5 business days plus transit.
  • Party favors at 40 to 100 units: order by late March. You need a proof cycle plus 5 to 7 days production.
  • Class-wide or booster quantities: order by early March. At 200 to 500 units you are looking at 7 to 14 business days after proof approval, and April is when our queue fills.

The failure mode is always the same: a parent decides in the second week of May, and by then every printer is booked. Ordering early costs nothing and the photos are not going to change.
