Why magnets
Photographs have a distribution problem. You take four thousand of them a year and you look at maybe forty. They live on a phone, get backed up to a cloud you never open, and quietly stop being part of your life.
A refrigerator door fixes that. It is the one surface in a house that every person walks past a dozen times a day. Put a photo there and it stops being stored and starts being seen.
That is the entire idea. It is not complicated, and it is why a $6 magnet outperforms a $60 photo book that lives on a shelf.
What we actually do differently
Every image that goes through this shop is color-corrected by a person before it prints.
That sounds small. It is not. Automated print pipelines are calibrated on a narrow range of skin tones and they consistently render deeper complexions gray or ashy. They cannot tell that your reception hall lighting threw a warm cast across everyone's face. They crush dark hair and dark fur into a black shape with no detail. And they will print all of it, at volume, and ship it to you without a flag.
We look at every photograph. When one will not reproduce well, we tell you before we print it — not after you have paid for six hundred of them.

The Keepsake Studio is the Custom Keepsakes Division of The Decor Rental Depot LLC, a Houston event company. We got into magnets sideways: we were already making keepsakes at weddings and receptions across the metro, and couples kept asking whether they could order more afterward.

- We will turn down an order we cannot deliver on time. Missing a wedding date is worse than losing the sale.
